Q/A and opinions: Ouran Highschool Host Club/ Ouran Koukou Host Club

The main character accidentally breaks an expensive vase which the members of the Host Club were planning to sell. The m/c is then told she has to pay for the broken vase, but she's a scholarship student who doesn't have the money to pay. So they tell her she will have to work off her debt as part of the Host Club.

Very interesting and funny, especially since they don't realize she's a girl at first. It's one of the very first shoujo animes I watched; it's full of comedy and great characters.

Cute, funny, and nice.

This type of animation is one of my favorites. Easy on the eyes and easy to keep up with.  The characters are very well made and their expressions are very funny!

Very very good in either dub or sub

I've watched this anime in both subtitles and dubs.  This is one of those anime where either sounds very good! Especially the comedy scenes, their reactions are priceless!

The main character is kind and independent.  

She doesn't care whether you have money or not and treats everyone equally.  She mentions in the first episode that she doesn't care how you see her (male or female) because what really matters is what's on the inside. She is a very good role model.

The male lead is funny and kind.  He's a very honest and friendly person.  Plus he plays the piano. 

The rest of the characters are very well made and developed. They are very kind, funny, serious, loving, sweet, etc.  A great diversity!
