Oh... my... goodness... What did I just... * SIGH * OK, unlike many others, I didn't hate previous movie much. Sure, it was far from being good. It had that crappy aftertaste that many superhero movies from 90s had. I mean, Captain America (1990), Spawn, Steel, The Shadow, The Phantom... that kind of stuff. It felt cheap, it felt cheesy, it was poorly written and so on, but... I can't say I hated it. It was kinda watchable if you had nothing else to watch and there was some room for improvement, so... let's just say I had some hope for the sequel. Especially since Woody Harrelson was supposed to be in it and, let's just admit it, Woody Harrelson just makes everything better. Not this time, though... not this time...

Because honestly, nothing can make this movie better. Just because it's THE worst movie I've seen since... since... I can't even say since when. Since Stan Lee's Lightspeed, I guess. Because, believe it or not, Let There be Carnage is a painfully cheesy b-movie with a big budget. It's not just bad. It's BAD bad. Like Dark Phoenix bad. Like Green Lantern bad. The New Mutants bad. Elektra bad. Batman and bloody Robin bad. Heck, even Catwoman movie was better than what we've got ourselves here. Why? Well, because the entire movie is just a bunch of cheesy lines and terrible humor (mixed with cheap CGI that looks more like a Snapchat filter).

And here's a question to you, SONY. WHAT... THE HECK... WERE... YOU... THINKING?!! Why in the name of all f*cks you treated one of the darkest and juiciest comic characters as an endless comic relief?!! Because that what this movie is. An endless comic relief. With nothing else. Literally. Nothing. Venom will do cheap talks, he'll have funny fights with Eddie, he'll sing (like... what?), he'll act like an a-hole... Howard the f*cking Duck was more Venom than Venom from this movie. I'm not kidding. I'm not exaggerating. It's literally that. This movie? It looks like a parody, it feels like a parody and, well, it IS a parody. Imagine Jar Jar Binks being in spotlight for the entire Star Wars movie and that'll be it. Weesa are f*cking Venom...

Sure, you can say that funny approach can work. And even though it's totally out of place here and everybody wanted to see some really dark stuff, recent Suicide Squad was a nice proof of the fact that it CAN work. Technically. Unfortunately, to do Suicide Squad thing, you need to have talent and... you know. Be funny. Like... FUNNY funny. While Let There be Carnage? It's just Venom and Eddie doing “Dude, Where's My Car?” thing. For the entire... bloody... movie. With no style or reason whatsoever. It's THE most terrible writing I've EVER seen in AAA movie since 90s. Or ever. Good grief...

But you know what bothers me the most (warning: spoilers ahead!). What bothered me the most was the fact that they're actually going to do a crossover with the MCU and Tom Holland's Spider-Man. I mean, technically, Tom's Spidey facing Venom is, like, dream coming true. It's literally everything comic book fans wanted to see in the MCU. But this? I want this cheesy crap to stay away as far from the MCU as possible. Because at this point? At this point MCU already has quite a lot of crap to deal with. It doesn't need a crappy Venom wannabe telling terrible jokes again and again with no end. I mean, what's next? Sophie Turner's Dark Phoenix? Well, you may as well add Jennifer Garner's Elektra, all The New Mutants and then... kill it with fire because movies like that? They just make you feel bad about your entire existence. Good grief.............
