so, they call it sea of monsters. they keep talking about it like it's a fucking huge thing. then they sort of accidentally wander in, having headed off in a different direction to the boat they were originally on. then they realise it's just one big monster, something revealed in the trailer incidentally, that's basically a watery sarlacc pit. once they're down there they escape within a matter of minutes with a distinct lack of peril or even a weak attempt at explaining their complete defiance of physics and common sense. it kept me entertained but they took some strange liberties and i can... read more

yet another rehash of greek mythology set in a modern teenage demigod camp. decent effects and cheesiness (i liked the retro abandoned theme park), but for me it was hermes the ops guy who stole the show, but that might be because of my castle bent :) read more
