"Muscle up Buttercup" I would be one of those who was not much impressed by the movie, however I did enjoy it. I would definitely re-watch it but not more than thrice. The animation is obviously amazing, lot of experimentation with visuals, theme, movement and colors The story however did not really interest me, it all felt like it was recycled but with a different setting. Nothing new to speak of, nothing much really stood out. It was very predictable. However the animation made up for it. If you haven't watch it, I recommend you do. moana is another animated disney movie/musical about an island girl coming of age and setting out to save her island. first off, the animation is top notch. the water effects were done extremely well, and each character has their own artistic charm. all of the monsters were also very well-animated. i also found this particular animated disney movie to be more relatable than others, with moana setting out knowing it's what she's supposed to do, but still questioning herself. maui also has great character development as he learns to be humble and that he's more than just his magic hook. each... read more
