a classic retro school romance that's universally relatable and yet uniquely funny. a story of truly who is befriended by the school thug as they both pursue their respective crushes, only to realise what's been bleeding obvious all along. well executed with plenty of funny moments. read more

the film is filled with clichés, though it was executed in a way that was entertaining and moving to watch. this is not a mere love story, but it is more of a coming-of-age-story since it also dealt with adulthood and growing up, standing up for your principles, and non-romantic relationships. it is one of those films that is just simple and ordinary, though even without its own distinct uniqueness or strength, you cannot completely despise it. it was such a great coincidence since earlier today, i saw a post about elon's "daily" schedule and i was having a conversation with my own self about... read more
