I told my friend halfway through this movie that this is Julia Robert's Training Day, I stand by that. She brings everything to this performance and holy shit just the sky was the limit. Her chemistry with everyone, especially Albert Finney was impeccable. She just had so much charm, wit, and heart it's really hard to not put yourself in her shoes at her desperation as well as how much she cares about what the truth really is. Some people are just born with this investigative reporter kind of energy, and if the real person handled things with as much conviction as Roberts did then I read more
