A kind of fantasy version of Forest Gump. But just not as good.
A tale of a man's own misadventures fictionalized by himself, on how he left his own town, own the heart of his wife, and says goodbye to his son on his deathbed.
Everyone loves a good story. But I don't agree with the main point of the movie, after all if you change it enough you end up with a big lie. In the movie they end up romanticizing the act of lying.

Young Ed Bloom: There are some fish that cannot be caught. It's not that they are faster or stronger than other fish, they're just touched by something extra.

Young Ed Bloom: "Kept in a small bowl, the goldfish will remain small. With more space, the fish will grow double, triple or quadruple its size." It occurred to me then that perhaps the reason for my growth was that I was intended for larger things. After all, a giant man can't have an ordinary-sized life.

Young Ed Bloom: It was that night I discovered that most things you consider evil or wicked are simply lonely, and lacking in the social niceties.

Sandra Bloom: You don't even know me.
Young Ed Bloom: I have the rest of my life to find out.

Jenny: Fate has a way of circling back on a man and taking him by surprise. A man sees things differently at different times in his life.

Will Bloom: A man tells so many stories, that he becomes the stories. They live on after him, and in that way he becomes immortal.
