Review of Catch Me If You Can

Overall Rating
a terrible movie with an even worse message. sometimes i hate humanity. so this boy has a decent upbringing with parents who love him. his dad is a con man at heart and his mother is a gold digging whore. whatever, they decide to get a divorce. which in turn leads him to a life of crime. boo fucking hoo. god damn white problems. now, we can safely say that he didn't kill anybody, but we know for sure he ruined countless lives and made 100's, if not thousands of people, up shits creek without a paddle. now, you can say he was a kid and he did the time. debatable, but did he deserve freedom so early on?. does he deserve the millions of dollars he blew and has now obtained?. does he deserve books, movies, memoirs and now a fucking play about his bullshit?. does he deserve to be romanticized as a funny light hearted character like he's portrayed in this movie?. the whole tone is positive and upbeat. the score is fun everytime he's doing something illegal. while, serious, when the authorities are doing their jobs. isn't that ass backwards. the worst thing of all though, is that this ends with a blurb that respects this man and his service, and wants you to respect him as well. and judging by the love, he is. it sure as shit wasn't the spelling out to us like children script, or the awesome display of bumbling idiot lawmen, or the long winded pacing with far too many acts. this makes the return of the king's ending, look like a pixar short. truth be told. i don't like glorifying real life pieces of shit. if you do, then frankly, you're no different then frank. also, now that the wolf of wall street is out. this is just a watered down turd by comparison.
