a lot more composed than its prequel, this movie just oozes fun. it's bad-ass, it's gory and time just flies by watching it. every time i watch the devil's rejects i seem to love it even more than i did the last time and this time was no different. also, danny trejo played danny trejo again. danny trejo playing danny trejo makes every movie better cause danny trejo is danny trejo. read more

it's rare that a sequel is better than it's predecessor but it has been known to happen. sometimes it's a toss up and causes arguments about which is actually better, like the godfather i and ii. with the devil's reject's there is no question. it far outshines house of 1000 corpses in every single way. rob zombie creates a follow up to his feature debut and takes away everything he did wrong to make a modern masterpiece of terror and violence unlike (yet very much like) anything we have seen before. gone is the trippy psychedelics, the surreal elements, the other wordly aspects, the plot read more

33/100 Хочется верить, что концовка это некий соц. эксперимент или лакмусовая бумажка от Роба Зомби по выявлению конченых. Просто в фильме сцена построена так словно "хорошие" ребята пережили преследование и уезжают на кабриолете под free bird в перемешку с флешбеками их "счастливых моментов", что явно должно вызывать какие-то эмоции и симпатию у смотрящего. Просто на минуточку, это те самые ребята, которые захуярили целый дом трупов, срезали с людей кожу и прочее. А фильм совершенно не хоррор, а обычная криминальная лента с кучей маргинальных отморозков. И на бумаге фильм со своей задачей... read more
