ok so we'll get this out of the way: if you hate the fast and furious series you'll hate hobbs and shaw. no suprises there. there's tons of action here but unfortunately none of it is really that great but it's never terribly offensive either. there's also a decent amount of humor and it's sometimes done well but mostly not. you'll laugh with it occasionally and at it far more...especially at the dramatic moments, but either way you'll laugh though so that's a plus. it's just a bunch of charismatic actors having fun in a series that has fully embraced that it's 100% about super heroes. it's a... read more

what made deadpool funny, was the thing that the movie never took itself seriously and the main was a solid joke in of itself. in this one, stateman is good but the rock is not that good. the othere characters are kinda bad. and the approach is not as effective as deadpool. read more

An action movie that's meant not to be taken seriously, Hobbs & Shaws just genuinely embrace the ridiculousness they put in on-screen. What's even better the chemistry between characters. You can tell the cast having blast making the film. Now if 4/5 doesn't resonate w/ you then your lower standards since Hobbs & Shaw totally step out what today's action movies are made today. read more

a delightfully self-aware and unreservedly funny romp; hobbs & shaw both embraces and pokes fun at the macho archetypes that fuel its high-octane excitement. truthfully, i didn't expect the movie to eschew the type of manly-man's machismo that so very much defines a lot of action movie fluff, but what a welcome surprise it was. much like how die hard and predator skewered the same stereotypical ubermensch protagonists with drama and horror, hobbs & shaw employs humor- and to great effect. john mcclane had to think and suffer through die hard- he was a man, not a superman. dutch's team in read more

My quick rating - 6;8/10. This movie is exactly what you expect for a summer flick. Action top to bottom; all the unbelievability of a fast and furious movie combined with a superhero flick. Wisecracking galore between our two main characters to add some comic relief as well as some msytery into who is pulling the strings yet again. Seems all of these players somehow are intermingled throughout the F&F universe; especially the villains. Very enjoyable with a big bucket of popcorn and bringing no sense of reality expectactions with you. Good to catch in a big screen; good thing we all have read more

The Fast and Furious franchise is very popular among moviegoers and here we finally have a spinoff of the Franchise unless you count Tokyo Drift lol. This was actually pretty good and the action sequences were far beyond any of the Fast and Furious movies. Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham play off each other well and I'm sure there will be other movies like this. Well worth a look read more

Apparently every main character in this movie is indestructible.....or robots. You literally could not pay me to watch this utter and ridiculous complete garbage. Even as a "spoof" film it still fails. Has entertainment truly come to this?
