the franchise challenge - dceu the was good, not great. it was full of cheese, heart, fun, decent action and some stand out performances. pine and wiig are excellent but gadot is sublime again as diana. it dragged on a little longer than needed and there was a few to many “we are the one” moments. also cgi at the end was ropey. i will watch this again - ⭐️⭐️⭐️&1/2 read more

Waste of 2.5 hrs, WW do not think this is the role for her, accent changes frequently, no chemistry with long lost love of her life. Opening story line has been done already. Story line goes off in useless needs, oil baron has no oil, wish granting must have touch then ends up broadcasting to the world.. Visuals are good.. but sorry wish I had stopped watching before the end.

some of the worst story editing since the last jedi. theres a better movie in there, it just needs to be recut and retooled. they should have started it with the scripting process, but this could have been saved in the edit bay. read more

it is waaaaay too long. we really don't need all the long flying sequences, this isn't superman: the movie, the effects are no longer groundbreaking enough to justify long stretches of nothing. so much just felt unnecessary, we didn't need anything on diana's home island, and this might be blasphemous, but we didn't need chris pine either. i get how he fit into the plot as a motivation for diana, but he was just kind of nothing on screen, which i didn't think i would ever say about chris pine. wiig and pascal make a strong pair of villains and let the whole film play out as a better version... read more

Увы, мне досталась версия для всех остальных, которая открывается 10 минутной экшн сценой в стиле величайшей cgi гонки из Скрытой угрозы, а так же с оставшимся 2-мя часами скучноты, хуиты, кринжоты и унылой ебанины. wonder woman, except it's 1984 and the double-whammy villains actually work. instead of doing a fake-out and the main bad guy shows up at the end, we see each villain go from start to finish. plenty of neat action moments and callbacks to wonder woman lore too. one of the issues i had was that this film was a sequel that wasn't supposed to exist, and therefore needed to have certain constraints that didn't really play out the greatest. i still had a lot of fun watching the movie as a whole. read more

Why is the guy's son asian, why does an anthropologist have access to the airplanes, why doesn't the fireworks damage the planes, why would a taxi driver sell his only source of income, why didn't mister lord turn into a stone if his wish was to be the stone, why is there still a hour and a half of this movie left? I shouldn't be having these thoughts while watching a movie unless I am incredibly bored by it. There's hardly any wonder woman in the first half of this. Stopped watching in Egypt. My quick rating - 5;1/10. This movie is the epitome of the year 2020. Letdown. Everything that made the first one really good is disregarded in this sequel. It almost seemed like they took the aspects of Wonder Woman that made nearly a billion dollars and then made an 80s parody of itself. Just that sentence though; aside form a few minor clothing choices in the movie; you could've dropped this flick into any time period and it would've worked out the same. At an hour and a half of watching WW84, the realisation that there remains a whole hour until this mess is over is not a welcome one. Unlike the 2017 Wonder Woman which was a refreshing and entertaining surprise, WW84 is a tepid and at best lukewarm sequel with dull pantomime villains and a ridiculous plot. When i watched it, i can say i was very excited with the villains and specially Pedro Pascal acting, but after a week, the internet started to realize something i didn't get at first. Basically Wonder Woman raped a guy. I think maybe it wasn't the intention at all but that's what it turned out to be. Steve Trevor, a.k.a. Wonder Woman's boyfriends is back from the dead but in someone's else body, that means he is just controlling other person, it's his mind but not his body.
