Like many debut films, there are a lot of things to complain about. The film is way too long, the plot is messy, the ending is unsatisfying, and some of the action is really chaotic. Yet, there are already some great scenes in this, showing the brilliance that would make the older Bong a fantastic director. The underlying social commentary is great, but gets lost in the mess. It does show that The Bong can make a movie about pretty much everything. Honestly, he can probably write a screenplay about a woman who sneezes too loud and somehow squeeze a critique of contemporary Korean/modern read more
