Dev Patel came a long way since Skins. I'm not familiar with the poem this is based on and I will admit some parts did confuse me but I was captivated by the journey and its inevitable outcome. The music really complimented well the atmosphere beautifully accompanied by an Ireland backdrop. A feast for the eyes. read more

i fear im not meant for greatness this movie was absolutely a journey, and its a very difficult film with an incredible amount of symbolism, which i absolutely loved, but at the same time, if you dont get the symbolism, i dont think this movie would hit with you. almost feels like this movie was made to filter out people. read more

This is an analysis and not a review and everything I write here is merely my own interpretation. A great tale about how much humans can learn from nature, sir Gawains mother wants to heal humankind, she tells her son to go have fun, she encourages him to find new adventures, she can kind of guess that Gawain will take on the challenge, what she cant predict is how Gawain will choose to strike the green knight.
