The writing is fabulous, employing a difficult blend of tension and dark comedy to deliver a believable scenario and some great characters. All of this naturally without a hint of gratuitous exposition although the second half of season one is not as good as the first. There is a lot of imagery woven through the show pushing the story along and revealing Cassie’s (Kaley Cuoco) inner world.
