Joyce is an uptight 70s feminist with unrealistic utopian ideals for a woman’s magazine. She meets free-wheeling, wide-boy pornographer, Doug and they form an unlikely publishing alliance to modify Joyce’s idea by “hiding the medicine”. This leads to a myriad of confrontations, disagreements and misunderstandings which generate comedy, character development and satire.
